RULES & REGS

Slopestyle competition takes place on a course consisting of variations of jumps and handrails. Anywhere from 3 to 5 of these “features” make up a standard size run. The athlete gets two attempts to execute their most difficult and creative maneuvers while displaying their mastery of the sport. Judges look for difficulty, amplitude, variety and execution when scoring a run but many times it’s the attitude, control, and “style” that elevates one competitor above the other.
